OZ Naturals Ancient Orient Rice Enzyme Dermafoliant Review

15 Jun

Hey guys, this going to be review on the new cruelty and paraben free Ancient Orient Rice Enzyme Dermafoliant by OZ Naturals. For those of you that don’t know about the brand, OZ Naturals is a top selling skincare line on Amazon.

I must disclaim, that OZ Naturals was generous enough to provide me with this product for an honest review. On to the great news: It didn’t disappoint. It’s a decent way to exfoliate your skin so that your makeup looks flawless or you’re bare skin can achieve a natural glow without becoming oily.

I used the exfoliant after my cleanser and before my toner. There is a nice size of product in the container to last you a while, and the packaging reminded me of a little salt shaker. I’m assuming OZ Naturals figured that way would prevent pouring out an excess of product at a time. It’s a cute concept, but mine was a bit hard to twist off.

This dermafoliant is unique in that it comes in powder form, so you might think “Uhm is this really working?” while you’re scrubbing away on your face. That’s what I initially thought, until I wiped my face dry and saw that I was shiny and glowing afterwards without any oily residue. I also noticed my dead skin from sunbathing shed a bit afterwards, which is good because that means this exfoliator works.

What’s important for me to note in my experience, is that I usually use a cleansing brush with all of my facial products, but I did not with this product, as it would easily absorb into the bristles and not work properly. Use your hands instead. It’s recommended you use this product 1-3 times a week. I exfoliate once a week, because I do have very sensitive skin. One of my favorite ingredients in this product is Alpha Lipoic Acid, which acts as an anti-inflammatory against redness and blotchiness.

I guess I added too much water at first while mixing the powder in my palm, so I didn’t notice too much of a pasty product to work with. This dermafoliant really gets down into your pores, so you don’t need to apply too much pressure when working it in your face with your hands. After my cleanser, I make sure my face is wet and pour out some powder onto my hands. I then put a small about of water into the formula, and it can be somewhat invisible, but the grains can be felt.

So whether you’re looking for an effective exfoliator or have never used one and want to incorporate one into your skincare routine, you can purchase it on amazon through the link shown below.

Thanks so much for reading, and hope you’ve found this helpful!
